FTE Ancillary and FTE Europe Innovation Awards 2017

FTE revealed the shortlists for the Future Travel Experience Europe Innovation Awards and the Future Travel Experience Ancillary Awards 2017.

The winners of each award will be announced at a special presentation ceremony during the Networking Party at the co-located FTE Europe and FTE Ancillary events (June 26-27, Dublin).

The inaugural Future Travel Experience Ancillary Awards will recognise the most pioneering airlines that have tapped into digital advancements to create new ancillary revenue streams across the end-to-end journey. Three FTE Ancillary Awards – Gold, Silver and Bronze – will be presented.

As for the Future Travel Experience Europe Innovation Awards, one European airline and one European airport will be recognised for their innovation and customer experience leadership.

The awards ceremony will take place at the FTE Ancillary & FTE Europe Networking Party at the famous Guinness Storehouse on Monday 26 June. More than 180 organisations, including more than 85 airlines and airports from around the world, have already registered to attend.

British Irish Airport Expo 2017

From June 7-8 the 2nd British-Irish Airports Expo is held in the NEC Birmingham.

Future Travel Experience Europe 2017

After Amsterdam 2016, this year’s Future Travel Experience Europe or FTE Europe 2017 will be held in Dublin, Ireland on June 26-27. Hosted at the RDS in the heart of Dublin city.

KLM & TU Delft strategic partnership

Congratulations to the Technical University TU Delft and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Today at the Passenger Terminal Expo in Amsterdam they announced a new 5 year strategic partnership. Students from the TU Delft will develop new products and optimise current processes at KLM. The TU Delft offer and develop the strategic design know-how. KLM in return offer a live test environment with “real” passengers, airport and planes. A first in the airline industry!
